Newly open in Webster Groves is a one-of-a-kind bookstore specializing in graphic books for all ages. Little Fox, located in Fox Park, was recently honored on the New York Times 50 recommended restaurants list. This prestigious annual inventory features a diverse list of restaurants from every region in the US, but Little Fox was the sole Missouri mention. Read all about it here!

West End Halloween

There’s something for every ghoul and goblin from mid-day to midnight at the legendary Central West End Halloween! Trick-or-treating at neighborhood businesses, Halloween parades for kids and canines, and an adult-only costume contest and street party. Boo at the Zoo is back!

A fun family tradition for all ages, Boo at the Zoo has returned! Now through the 31st curve your way through the not-so-spooky sidewalks to find shimmering lights, silly pumpkins, soirees of skeletons, and many more thrills! Extra nightly activities from 5pm – 8:30pm. Click here to explore.

City Foundry Food Hall Opens    

The long-awaited food hall at City Foundry STL is officially open to the public. In this first phase of the much-anticipated project that has been five-years in the making, City Foundry now offers 11 unique food-stalls (kitchens) serving a wide range of cuisines including pan-Indian street food, sweet and savory waffles, classic empanadas, and so much more. With several more stalls to be added in the coming months, you can browse current offerings here.

 

Tennessee Williams Festival

The 6th annual Tennessee Williams Festival, ‘The Moon and Beyond,’ will run from August 19th – 29th and will feature “The Glass Menagerie,” one of Williams’s most iconic works. Sales open for Music at the Intersection Festival

Live music is returning to the region in this inaugural three-day festival set to bring 60+ acts to six stages throughout Grand Center this Fall. Venues include the Fabulous Fox Theatre, the Big Top, the Sheldon Concert Hall, and more. Come for the produce, stay for the pints. Every Saturday from 12–8 p.m. at Roman Pavilion in Tower Grove Park, Schlafly Beer sponsors Pints in the Park, where guests can enjoy seasonal and classic beers, live music, and food truck fare. Othello in the Park

Now through August 29th the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival is presenting the classic Shakespearian tragedy, Othello in 24 parks and gathering spaces across Missouri and Illinois. Twilight Thursday

The popular outdoor concert series at the Missouri History Museum, Twilight Tuesday, is returning this September, but just a little later in the week. Primate Canopy Trails Opens at the St. Louis Zoo    

On July 12th the St. Louis Zoo officially opened its new $13 million-dollar primate exhibit, the Michael and Quirsis Riney Primate Canopy Trails. Under construction since late 2019, the 35,000-square-foot outdoor expansion consists of eight habitats, tunnel connections, and more than 100 different living situations when combined with the Primate House. Hot Diggity (Vegan) Dog!

St. Louis area eateries have been singled out as having two of the best vegetarian hot dogs in the country. Steve’s Hot Dogs (3457 Magnolia Avenue) and Peace Love Coffee, Vegan Cafe and Market (524 South Main Street) were both awarded spots on PETA’s Top Ten Vegan Dogs list making Missouri the only state to have multiple winners. Golf the Galleries Returns

You can once again put your way through the Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries from now until September 5th.
